Mixes 1.0 and 1.1 were recorded in 2012. The 2.0 mix was made especially for the Tour De France Grand Depart from Leeds UK in 2014. It was recorded in September 2013.
The mixes include sounds that Road Racing Bicycles make, from the chain ring, gears, brake/gear shifters, spokes, air from the tyre valve and track pump. The sounds were then used for percussion etc.
Version 2.X features Brazilian artist Claudio Kron on extra bike parts percussion / Latin percussion "Kings of the Mountains 2.X" is an extended version with vocals and tempo changes relative to ascent, descent and racing finish. Dedicated to all the cycling greats. .
